Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Scope & Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the business relationship between DCBM – Dominic Böhm ("I", "me", "Service Provider") and any individual or legal entity ("Client") who engages my services. By commissioning a project or signing a statement of work, the Client accepts these Terms in full.
2. Services Provided
I offer the following categories of services:
- AI Strategy Consulting & Workshops
- End-to-End AI & Full-Stack Development
- MLOps, Data Engineering & Cloud Architecture (Microsoft Azure)
- AI Team Enablement & Mentoring
- Related IT consulting and advisory services
The exact scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for each engagement are defined in a separate written agreement or statement of work ("SOW") agreed upon prior to commencement of work.
3. Offers & Conclusion of Contract
All information on this website is non-binding. A binding contract is only concluded when both parties have signed a written SOW or I have confirmed a project in writing (including via e-mail). I reserve the right to decline any engagement without stating reasons.
4. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in the SOW, the following default terms apply:
- Invoices are due within 14 days of the invoice date.
- For projects exceeding €1,000, a deposit of 30–50 % of the agreed fee is due before work begins.
- Late payments accrue interest at the statutory rate under Austrian law.
- All prices are net of VAT; applicable VAT will be shown separately on invoices.
5. Client Obligations
The Client agrees to:
- Provide timely access to required systems, data, and stakeholders.
- Ensure that any data or materials provided do not infringe third-party rights and comply with applicable data protection laws (in particular the GDPR).
- Review and provide feedback on deliverables within the timeframes specified in the SOW.
Delays caused by the Client may result in adjusted timelines and additional costs, which will be communicated in advance.
6. Intellectual Property
Unless the SOW explicitly transfers IP rights, I retain all intellectual property rights in methodologies, frameworks, tools, and pre-existing code used during the engagement. Upon full payment, the Client receives a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use the specific deliverables for their own internal business purposes.
The Client grants me permission to reference the engagement as a general case study (without disclosing confidential details) in my portfolio, unless explicitly prohibited in writing.
7. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information received during the engagement and not to disclose it to third parties without prior written consent. This obligation survives the termination of the contract for a period of three (3) years.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, my total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the services shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.
I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profit or data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement with 14 days' written notice. Upon termination, the Client shall pay for all work completed up to the termination date. Any prepaid but unearned fees will be refunded pro rata.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Greek law, excluding its conflict-of-law provisions. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms is Thessaloniki, Greece.
11. Changes to These Terms
I reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The current version is always published on this website. For ongoing engagements, the version in force at the time of contract conclusion applies.
